I’m actively working toward full resolution of my autoimmune disease (not just management with less flares) and I believe this is totally possible.
A strict elimination diet (carnivore), good sleep, low stress, and clean living have all been incredibly helpful in reducing symptoms. But I still don’t think this covers the full picture.
In my view, autoimmune disease is not the immune system “attacking itself,” and has nothing to do with genetics. Instead, it’s a state of toxin overload that the body is attempting to resolve.
Through studying the work of Dr. Tom Cowan, Dr. Andrew Kaufman, and doing research myself, I’ve come to see that the conventional autoimmune narrative (like many medical theories) is all assumed, not proven. There is no clear evidence that the immune system randomly turns on the body, it just doesn’t hold up when you look closely. Plus, it’s really a silly idea. Why would the body attack itself? It’s clearly much smarter than this…
The disease simply being a state of toxin overload makes complete sense. Growing up I didn’t live the cleanest lifestyle. We ate mostly the SAD diet, I had all the vaccines, took toxic pharmaceuticals for a decade, and was exposed to a very high amount of emotional stress and trauma (these are toxins too).
Because of these discoveries, I’m now focusing heavily on detoxification and having incredible results. I’m experimenting with various detox strategies, like Coffee Enemas, Zeolite Clinoptilolite (binder), liver support, and when I feel ready will move into Dr. Andrew Kaufman’s Power of Pine protocol. This protocol utilizes the most potent natural healing solvent in the world – turpentine. I know it sounds crazy, but it turns out turpentine historically has been used for a huge list of conditions (search it in old Merck manuals). And anecdotally it has a very impressive track record. If you want to learn more about healing with turpentine, Dr. Andrew Kaufman and Dr. Jennifer Daniels are two great resources. Youtube censors this information, so you have to look elsewhere.
My expectation is full remission, where I don’t have to rely on a strict diet and sleep to manage symptoms. I’ll be sharing updates in my free Skool community as I go.
If you know someone struggling with autoimmune disease, or relying on a carnivore diet to manage it, definitely send them this post. And if you’ve gone through something similar or have experience with detox-based approaches, join the Skool and share your experience, I’d love to hear about it!
Best,
Austin
