Why I Question Everything About Modern Medicine, Nutrition, and “Science”

I don’t trust the entire system, here’s why.

I get questions like these all the time…

  • How can you be so confident conventional medicine has it wrong?
  • How can you be so sure nutrition guidelines are backwards?
  • How are you so certain red meat is healthy?

They NEVER stop. But I get it, my health and nutrition takes are far from mainstream.

But the answer is very simple. I don’t trust ANY conventional health advice. Period. Not because I’m contrarian just for the fun of it, but because when I actually dig into their claims, fact-check them, and evaluate the evidence… the truth isn’t just a little off. It’s almost always the complete opposite of what we’re told.

Nearly every disease explanation, treatment, and nutrition guideline that I’ve evaluated is either weak, misleading, or complete and utter nonsense. Nearly everything is upside down.

And it shows! Chronic disease, both physical and mental, is at an all-time high. Because medical and nutrition systems built on lies would obviously do far more harm than good…

But my distrust isn’t just intellectual. It’s personal. When I was 12, I was diagnosed with RA and psoriasis. I was given the standard story:

“Your immune is attacking your own tissue. We have no idea why. It might be genetic. Unfortunately, there’s no cure, reversal or recovery. So you need to take these cancer drugs for the rest of your life.”

At 12 years old, I was terrified. I thought my future was locked in — pain, disability, and endless medication. But eventually I woke up, and started to question things. I developed faith in my biology, and my body’s ability to heal, and started to dig deeper. And what I’ve found absolutely shatters the narrative.

Turns out “autoimmune diseases” are not remotely close to what conventional medicine claims them to be. There’s virtually no evidence that the immune system is attacking your own tissue. The so called “specific” antibodies, aren’t specific at all and don’t even appear in all of the patients. I discovered that these conditions are simply issues of toxicity, not malfunction. And if you remove the toxic burden, the body will heal.

Sure enough, that’s exactly what’s happening. I stopped my toxic meds, cleaned up my diet and lifestyle, and committed to thorough detoxing, and now am happy to say, I feel I’ve successfully healed from my “autoimmune diseases”.

To be told at the age of 12 that I’d have crippled joints and rash covered skin for my entire life was terrifying. A moment I’ll never forget. And to now learn that it was all a big lie? And that healing was possible?

It was relieving, but the trauma will not be forgotten. And the harm 12 years of “treatment” did, will take time to recover from.

This experience is what opened my eyes. It’s why I question everything, from autoimmune dogma to the “red meat causes disease” narrative — which also turns out to be a complete joke.

So this is why I don’t trust conventional medicine, nutrition, and biology and nearly all advice that stems from it. I actually despise it. And it’s not the physicians and nutritionists. I think most have good intentions. They’re just led astray. It’s the medical industrial complex itself that I despise. A system driven by profit, not public health, that benefits from making people sicker and sicker.

If you’re interested in uncovering the truth about biology, nutrition, health and real medicine, like myself, I encourage you go listen to people like Dr. Tom Cowan and Dr Andrew Kaufman. These two have opened my eyes in ways I cannot describe. And I’ll keep sharing what I learn, to spread the truth, as I understand it. So that we can all reclaim our health, think critically, and live better, stronger lives.

Best,

Austin
